Chef Scott Teal from HyVee mixes things up with a Surf & Turf by grilled tri-tip steak with Jamaican jerk shrimp will make for a simple yet delicious meal on the grill.

Jamican Jerk Marinade

1/4 Cup Molasses

2T Vegetable Oil

2T Dried Onion

1T Dried Thyme,

1T Allspice

2t Black Pepper

1t Salt

1T Cinnamon

1t Cayenne Pepper

Combine all ingredients and whisk together. Use as a rub or marinade on pork, chicken, or fish.

For sliders, grill chicken until done and assemble sandwich with lettuce, tomato, fresh pineapple slice, and the cheese of your choice. Chef Scott recommends Pepper Jack Cheese.
