Sioux Falls Woman Accused of Biting Boyfriend’s Nose

25-year-old arrested on aggravated assault charges

Police arrested a Sioux Falls woman for aggravated assault Saturday night after allegedly biting her boyfriend’s nose during an argument .

Jaslina Brittny Provancial, 25, and her boyfriend, a 31-year-old Sioux Falls man, were reportedly in an argument over Provancial’s friends at their home on the 500 block of N. Cliff Ave. “She actually almost bit off part of his nose,” said Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sam Clemens.

The victim called for an ambulance at a neighbor’s house around 11:30 p.m. Provancial was found shortly after by police on the 1400 block of E 6th Street.

Police say both Provancial and the victim had been drinking.
