Skye Flied High At Northern State

Warwick Hit 301 Three Pointers At NSU

His name may suggest high flying heroics.

“I don’t usually razz him to much about his vertical. There’s a lot of other things we could be razzing Skye about!” Northern State Head Coach Paul Sather says.

“I don’t know why they named me that, sorry!” Northern State Senior Skye Warwick says.

But Skye Warwick’s best work is done below the rim.

“Shooting I think. I mean, that’s what I’m out there for I’d say.” Skye says.

In four years Skye scored more than 1200 career points, 23rd on the Northern’s all time scoring list. He was deadliest beyond the arc, hitting 301 career 3’s, many at the buzzer.

“He’s the ultimate competitor at 158 pounds. Whether he’s at St. Thomas More or here he’s been that guy that always has a tendancy to make that big play.” Sather says.

“I don’t know just the fans, the atmosphere, my teammates, I mean it’s just great playing basketball in this great atmosphere here in Aberdeen. And I’ll probably just miss it all as a whole.” Warwick says.

It’s a career that has given future Wolves a “Skye” high bar to shoot for!
