Three Men Arrested On Assault Charges Following Dispute Over Tow Truck

Three men were taken into custody following a dispute over a tow truck this weekend.

Twenty-five-year-old Derek Rondeau (left) and 21-year-old Jordan Almond (right) are facing charges of aggravated assault. Montana Ennenga (not pictured) is facing simple assault charges.

The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to 26056 464th Avenue in Hartford for a report of a gunshot. They say Rondeau, Ennenga and Almond were on the property attempting to retrieve a tow truck that they believe belonged to them.

The sheriff’s office says Almond struck someone with a crowbar and a friend of the junk yard owner fired a shot into the air to get them to stop the assault.

Rondeau was arrested at the scene. Ennenga and Almond were arrested at a home in Brandon trying to hide from authorities.
