Forward Sioux Falls 2021 Exceeds Fundraising Goal

Economic development group raises $15.528 million

The co-chairs of Forward Sioux Falls 2021 say they have a lot of momentum behind them. And they have the fundraising dollars to back that up.

The economic development group announced Tuesday they have exceeded their fundraising goal by raising $15.528 million.

Some of the projects they plan to use that money on include Foundation Park and the USD Discovery District.

A big part of the campaign also includes investing in the state’s workforce.

Co-chair Dave Rosenboom says they always are thankful for the participation from the community.

“In generating these pledged dollars for the next five years, we had over 450 individual, business, and organizational investors in this effort,” says Forward SF 2021 Co-chair Dave Rosenboom.

Since 1987 when Forward Sioux Falls started, more than $52 million has been raised.
