Police Seize Large Amount Of Meth During Search Of Huron Home

Police in Huron have seized nearly $4,000 worth of crystal meth after conducting a search of a home.

According to Sgt. Casey Spinsby, on July 25, a large amount of crystal meth, was found in the home during the search along with a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Jordan Bachmann, 26, of Huron has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana with the intent to distribute, keeping a place for use or sale of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating a drug-free zone.

Huron Police Department along with the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation conducted the search.
