BRING ON THE BISON! Villanova Win Sends SDSU To Quarterfinal Rematch

Jacks To Face NDSU For 8th Time In Five Years

Yesterday the Jackrabbit football team broke through yet another barrier, advancing past the second round of the FCS Playoffs for the first time ever with a 10-7 win over Villanova.

Now they face perhaps the biggest hurdle ending the North Dakota State dynasty.

This will be the 8th meeting between the two teams in five years and third time in the playoffs. The most recent battle is one SDSU fans will never forget, as the Jacks rallied from 14 down to win 19-17 on Jake Wieneke’s touchdown catch with one second left to hoist the Dakota Marker and beat NDSU for the first time since 2009.

The quarterfinal kicks off at 11 AM on Saturday and be televised nationally on ESPN.
