SDSU’s Macy Miller Out For The Season

Star Junior Guard Will Apply For Summit League Medical Redshirt

South Dakota State Jackrabbits Junior Guard Macy Miller is out for the 2016 season.

Sources tell KDLT Sports that Miller suffered a torn ACL in her right knee.

Miller suffered the same injury in high school but to the opposite knee.

Miller went down on December Ninth against Green Bay.

She started the first nine games for the Jackrabbits and averaged 14.9 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game and 2.3 assists per game.

The Mitchell native started the 2016 season on a blistering pace, shooting 52 percent from the field and 55 percent from the three point line.

Miller will apply for a medical redshirt from the Summit League in an attempted to gain an extra year of eligibility.
