Cautious Peterson Eyes Return To Vikings

Peterson Tore Meniscus In Right Knee In Early September

Yesterday Adrian Peterson returned to Vikings practice.

Today he spoke to the media, only fanning the flames of a possible comeback this weekend against Indianapolis.

Peterson has been formally designated as the Vikings player to return from injured reserve. He hasn’t played since tearing the meniscus in his right knee on September 18th against Green Bay. Peterson has been targeting the Christmas Eve game at Green Bay next week for his return, but hasn’t closed the door just yet on playing Sunday.
