Trendy Tips to Dress Up Your Gifts: Christmas Wrapping the Unique Way

Blank Paper Opens to Opportunity for A Unique, Customizable Gift

Christmas is less than a week away and with the holiday, comes all the wrapping. Whether the gifts are large or small, there are always little ways to dress up the packaging.

Calligrapher Chelsey Burtis stopped by KDLT News Today to share some tips on how to make your Christmas gifts unique and fun.

Her main tip: invest in plain wrapping paper. The blank paper gives you a canvas to create-your-own holiday themes. Glue and glitter can be combined to make gifts sparkle. Metallic sharpie and gel pens add a nice touch to individualize a gift.

Gift tags are also customizable. Plain cardboard can be cut into unique shapes, with added glue, glitter, twine or copper wire; a unique flair can be added.

Burtis is guest-instructing a calligraphy class at Oh My word Paperie on January 14th.

Classes are available as gift options.
