Volunteers Still Needed For Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa

ORANGE CITY, I.A. – RAGBRAI XLV kicks off on July 22 as Orange City welcomes thousands of cyclists, support crews, and visitors from around the globe as the starting host town for the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa.

To pull off this huge event, hundreds of volunteers are needed in a variety of roles. Those who have signed up to volunteer – and anyone still considering how they can help – are invited to the Volunteer Orientation/Training on Monday, July 17 from 5-7pm in the City Hall in downtown Orange City.

Volunteers can come and go during the two hours as their schedule fits, and will receive brief training, instruction, and scheduling information in the areas that they have signed up for.

They will also receive a complimentary Orange City RAGBRAI volunteer T-shirt, and can sign up for additional volunteer opportunities that evening.
