How To Transition Summer Style Into Fall With Chelsea’s Boutique
SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- Transitioning your wardrobe from summer to fall doesn’t have to break your bank, so Chelsea’s Boutique is showing off stylish ways to double dip your favorite pieces between seasons.
Owner Chelsea Tracy says a lot of people struggle with their wardrobe between seasons because they think they have to spend a lot of money on new stuff, which she says isn’t the case.
An effortless way to wear a summer favorite during fall is to layer it with a long cardigan. This is easy to do with a dress, which can be amped up with a pair of booties. Tracy suggests adding a belt on top to create more of a silhouette.
Chelsea’s Boutique offers a variety of booties, which were trending this summer, making them the perfect shoe between seasons. To shop their shoe collection, click here.
A summer favorite, like a denim skirt, can be paired with dark, thick tights and an over-sized knit sweater to add warmth and coverage for fall. To dress it up, add statement accessories or a feminine bralette, as featured in the video above.
Distressed tanks and tees can also be worn right through fall when paired with a kimono and skinny jeans, says Tracy. These are also great to pair with a bralette and of course, booties.
Summer dresses that are more fitted pair well with a cropped denim jacked and a floppy hat. To see the full looks modeled by the Sioux Falls Storm Lightning Girls, watch the video above.
