Gerry Ready To Prove Himself At Eagles Training Camp
Sioux Falls Native Begins First NFL Season Monday
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — NFL Training camps begin over the course of the next week including in Philadelphia where one Sioux Falls native will begin trying to fulfill a lifelong dream.
Former Washington Warrior and Nebraska Cornhusker Nate Gerry will begin training camp with the Eagles on Monday. Philadelphia took him in the fifth round of the draft this year with the intent to move him from his college position of safety to linebacker.
Just because Gerry was taken relatively high in the draft doesn’t mean his spot is guaranteed. Nate and his family feel he’s ready for the challenge.
