Vikings, Linval Joseph Agree To Extension

Deal Reportedly 4 years, $50 Million With $31 Million Guaranteed

MINNEAPOLIS, M.N. — The Minnesota Vikings took another step in solidifying a defense that ranked third in the NFL last year.

The Vikings have agreed to an extension with nose tackle Linval Joseph.

The deal is reportedly for four year, $50 million, with $31 million guaranteed.

Joseph was a pro-bowler for the Vikings last season.

He started all sixteen games last year and had a career-high 40 assisted tackles and three forced fumbles.

He also tied a career high with 4 sacks

Now that his deal is done, he can move to his goal for this year.

“I want to try to make history. Having to play in the Super Bowl in your home stadium, that’s never been done, that would be the ultimate goal. Right now, that’s the biggest prize I’m trying to look for,” said Joseph.
