Kids Zone New At The Sioux Empire Fair
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Sioux Empire Fair is making sure kids keep coming back for more, by making their experience special this year.
For the first year, the fair has a kids zone located near the main entrance. It features several kids corn boxes, which are basically sand boxes, but filled with corn instead. Campbell Supply donated the all the supplies, including the Tonka Trucks for kids to play with.
The kids zone also features a show called ‘K-9’s In Flight’. The Frisbee and Diving Dogs do high flying tricks three times each day, and both are free with fair admission.
“We do put thousands of dollars into the free entertainment for everyone but people really love it. It’s nice to have an area that is totally kid’s zone , family friendly,” said Brittany Will with the Sioux Empire Fair.
Kids can also have an up close experience with farm animals at McDonald’s Farm and the Pipestone Discovery Barn. They can also pet and feed other animals at Noah’s Way Exotic Petting Zoo.
There, children can ride ponies, and feed baby animals including a camel and kangaroo.
The Sioux Empire Fair runs until August 13th this year.
