LifeScape And Dairy Queen To Host ‘Livin’ It Up For LifeScape’
SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- LifeScape is inviting the public to their Livin’ It Up for LifeScape event on August 17 to help fund their mission to empower people living with disabilities.
The carnival event will be at Dairy Queen on Minnesota Avenue in Sioux Falls from 3:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 17. Jill Willard with Dairy Queen says they’re always happy to work with LifeScape and help them give back to their community.
“This carnival is one way we can help people to live their best lives,” says Tessa Dee from LifeScape. Dee says kids of all ages are welcome to attend.
Anyone with a ticket to Livin’ It Up for LifeScape will be entered in a drawing to win a variety of local experiences, including a chance to do the weather with KDLT’s Brandon Spinner and Blaise Keller! Attendees can also win Canaries and Stampede packages, the chance to paint a Dairy Queen window, co-host the KBAD morning show with Crash and Taylor, and for children who live within the Sioux Falls School District, a ride to school on either a fire truck or SWAT vehicle. Tickets are $15 to include the drawing for the ride in a fire truck or SWAT vehicle, or $10 for kids outside of the Sioux Falls School District. To purchase tickets, click here.
The event will also feature a sundae bar, face painting, mascots, a coloring contest and lots of games!
