4 People Arrested Following Alleged Drug Deal In Sioux Falls
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Four people have been arrested after police say they caught them dealing drugs in the parking lot of a Sioux Falls business.
40-year-old Larry McKay, 24-year-old Yulia Stefanyuk, 26-year-old Patrick Marshall, and 31-year-old Brandon Rouillard were all arrested on drug charges. Police say they received information that McKay may have been involved in selling drugs.
They say the four were in two different vehicles parked in the Old Chicago parking lot last night just after 7:30. When officers arrived, Marshall was leaving McKay’s truck to get into Stefanyuk’s car.
Officers uncovered a total of 48 grams of methamphetamine and 9 grams of marijuana, a handgun, and a rifle.
Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens said, “We’ve had drug seizures, meth seizures where we’ve had way more than that, so it’s not a massive amount, but compared when we’re talking usually a gram or two or less this is a substantial amount.”
Police say McKay has previously been charged with felony drug charges.
They say drug deals typically happen fast. If you notice something being exchanged between cars, they are urging people to contact police.
