South Dakota Minimum Wage To Increase In 2018

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota’s minimum wage is set to see a 20 cent increase in 2018.

Workers will see an increase from $8.65 an hour to $8.85 an hour starting January first. The minimum wage is annually adjusted for cost of living. This year saw an increase of one point 9 percent.

The hourly minimum wage for tipped employees will be $4.425 an hour. Wages and tips combined are required to equal at least the minimum wage.
