Jacks Open Valley Play With Top Ten Showdown

4th Ranked SDSU at 6th Ranked Youngstown Saturday

BROOKINGS, S.D.  —  4th ranked South Dakota State has a top ten showdown at 6th ranked Youngstown State Saturday night at 7.

The Jacks have been pretty good against Bo Pelini’s Penguins, beating the former Nebraska coach in each of their two head to head meetings and are 8-1 overall against Youngstown since joining the Valley in 2009.

But after losing to the Jacks last year the Penguins made it all the way to the FCS Championship game, and Coach John Stiegelemeier knows that’s made them a much tougher challenge.
