$91,000 Raised For Hurricane Relief Efforts Through GreatLIFE Challenge

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Fundraising for hurricane relief efforts was a success at Symetra Tour GreatLIFE Challenge in Sioux Falls.

The GreatLIFE Cares Foundation says $91,000 was raised during the tournament for the Houston relief fund and team Rubicon Responders.

What began as a single pledge by Houston-native and Symetra Tour player Shannon Fish, grew into a larger matching initiative.

Participants could pick a player to back during the tournament and pledge a dollar amount per par, birdie or eagle, or a flat amount to relief efforts.

Those pledges were then matched by the GreatLIFE Cares Foundation.
