Back End of Car Crushed In Wreck Near Ethan

DAVISON COUNTY, SD – Amazingly, two drivers are not seriously hurt after a car is almost completely crushed when a truck rear-ended it Wednesday morning.

South Dakota Highway Patrol troopers responded to the wreck on Highway 37 just south of Ethan.  Investigators say a Pontiac Grand Prix driver was waiting for traffic to clear to make a left turn when a Chevy Silverado slammed into the back of it.  The driver of the truck, who was not hurt, was changing the radio station and didn’t see the Pontiac stopped.  Both drivers had their seat belts on.  The driver of the Pontiac was taken to the hospital, but only with minor injuries.
