Feeding South Dakota In Need Of Donations

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A Sioux Falls non-profit organization is in need of your help.

Feeding South Dakota’s panrty shelves and inventory are low and the organization that fees around 100 families every day needs the public’s help to restock on the essentials.

“When we lack some of those items it just gets hard for us because we don’t think we are creating the experience that we want to necessarily for those in need. And then again they are critical more stale items for our families that we serve,” said Kerri Degreaff with Feeding South Dakota.

he organization is looking specifically for canned vegetable, canned fruits, and cereal donations.

Local Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops will be collecting food donations for the pantry this Saturday.

If you receive a door knocker, you can donate just by leaving food items outside your door by 9 a.m.
