Police: Fatal Weekend Shooting Stemmed From Domestic Dispute
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sioux Falls police say a fatal shooting on Sunday stemmed from a domestic dispute.
Police were called to a residence near 10th Street and Western Avenue early Sunday morning around 1:45 a.m. for a gunshot report. When officers arrived they found a 34-year-old man deceased from a gunshot wound to the torso.
Police say the victim and an adult women were involved in a domestic relationship. The two had a domestic dispute that ended when the victim was fatally shot. Police are not releasing the the victim’s name or the women’s name because of Marsy’s Law.
Police say they know where the women is located and that there is no danger to the public.
No charges or arrests have been made.
The investigation is still on-going.
