Another Successful Jazz Fest Weekend
SIOUX FALLS, SD- The first night of Jazz Fest drew an estimate forty thousand people to Yankton Trail Park on Friday night and the music continued into Saturday.
It’s the 27th year Jazz Fest has been hosted by the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Society. There are plenty of jazz squares to go around because you can’t help but dance.
Besides jazz music, the free event includes over twenty vendors and even a yoga class. Jazz Fest has been a part of the Sioux Empire and organizers see how it brings people together.
Executive Director, Rob Joyce states, “Jazz Fest is about community, having fun (you know), summer, getting out and enjoying the friends, family, music, and culture in a beautiful place.”
This year’s Jazz Fest is only a two day event. Jazz Fest wraps up Saturday night with Nikki Hill taking the main stage at 8 p.m and Taj Mahal wrapping up the night at 10 p.m.
