Police: Employees From Two Massage Parlors Arrested, Cited for No License

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Police arrested three people and cited two others last weekend after they discovered the employees at two massage parlors in Sioux Falls didn’t have massage licenses.

Police say they were doing investigations into massage parlors when they discovered the two businesses had employees giving massages that didn’t have licenses.

On Saturday, police arrested two employees and the owner of Asian Moonlight Relaxing Center located at 1012 West 41st Street. 61-year-old Lingyu Tefft, 62-year-old Yue Hu, and the owner 52-year-old Yan Zhang were arrested for practicing massages without a license. Zhang is also being charged for not having a sales tax license.

On Sunday, police cited two employees from Miracle Massage, located at 3404 South Western Avenue. 50-year-old Yinglien Lee and 59-year-old Xiuyun Li were both cited for practicing massages without a license.

Police say the arrests and citations were a part of an undercover investigation.
