Reward for Stolen Guns
Reward offered after 20 to 30 guns stolen in Rapid City
The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives along with Rapid City police and a firearms trade group are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information about 20 to 30 guns that were stolen from a sporting goods store.
Authorities say the guns were taken during a burglary at The Rooster in Rapid City early Wednesday.
ATF is offering a reward of up to $5,000, which will be matched by the National Shooting Sports Foundation for a total reward of up to $10,000. The reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF and ATF involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed gun dealers.
