Healthy Thanksgiving Meals

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – It’s hard to believe, but Thanksgiving is less than a week away.

It can be tough to make a dish that pleases everyone, but Annie ‘Fit Chic’ Mello stopped by to help with some happy and healthy dishes.

Pumpkin Bars

Cauliflower Gratin

Cranberry Honey Ham: 

16 oz. can cranberry sauce

1/4 c. honey

1/4 c. of Grade A or B Maple Syrup

1 tbsp. lemon juice

1/4 cup of unsweetened coconut flakes 

Directions: 

Preheat oven to 325°. Line a roasting pan with foil. Place ham on a rack in prepared pan. Bake, covered, 1 hour.Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, whisk remaining ingredients until blended. Remove 1 cup mixture for glaze; reserve remaining mixture for sauce. Brush ham with some of the glaze mixture. Bake, uncovered, until a thermometer reads 140°, 35-45 minutes, brushing every 10 minutes with remaining glaze.
