“Strongly Worded” Letter Writing Workshops Held Across State
Have something you want to tell your legislators but unsure of how to say it?

If you’ve ever wanted to make your ideas, concerns, or thoughts known to your legislators but were unsure of how, this opportunity is for you.
The ACLU of South Dakota is currently hosting a series of workshops designed to help you construct a letter that will grab your lawmakers attention – whatever the issue may be that you may want to discuss. Monday, February 11 in Vermillion is the latest event, and organizers of the non-partisan group are hopeful there will be a good turnout. Last week, in the midst of a blinding snowstorm, more than 20 showed up to an event in Madison.
