Honeybee Colony Numbers Drop By Nearly Half In South Dakota

The honeybee population across the nation, and the world, has been on the decline for near two decades, leaving beekeepers wondering why and how increase the numbers. It's for that reason that the USDA conducted a first time survey in an effort to find out what can be done to save the bees; it's findings for the 2nd highest honey producing state of South Dakota were over 5 times the national number.
